Maintaining Aerobic Septic Systems

   Tips for Keeping Your Aerobic Septic Functioning Properly

   Required Homeowner Maintenance

  • Keep power on to system at all times
  • Keep ants away from aerator compressor and septic riser lids
  • Keep chlorine in system
  • Keep grass mowed around tank and sprinkler heads
  • Keep a valid monitoring contract on file with county authorities (If required)
  • Have tank cleaned when sludge levels indicate 10-12 inches in pump tank

**Sludge levels are indicated on our inspection reports left at  home. Homeowners, will be notified in writing when sludge levels show tank needs to be pumped out.
